  • All SOL tests must be taken in-person at school. SOL tests are not available for remote delivery from home.
  • Monday testing for virtual only students will begin at 10:00AM.  Transportation can be scheduled if needed to participate in Monday SOL testing.  Scheduling transportation typically takes 1-2 weeks.  If you need to request bus transportation for your virtual only child for Monday SOL testing, please email Ray Correllus as soon as possible (contact information below).  More information will follow about procedures regarding in-person testing for virtual students.
  • For students that attend school in-person, testing will occur at school shortly after arrival.  Students accessing virtual concurrent instruction on a given day will participate in asynchronous instruction until SOL testing is completed for the day.
  • If you do not wish for your student to take SOL tests at school this spring, you have the right to refuse testing.
  • If you choose to refuse the grade 3-8 SOL reading or mathematics test for your virtual student, you will have the opportunity for them to complete an alternative, non-SOL test at home. The Virginia Remote Student Progress Monitoring Test will provide information about strengths and areas for growth in grade level content standards.

If you have questions, require information, would like to discuss refusal or require student transportation for Monday test sessions please contact Ray Correllus, Assistant Principal at @email or (703) 390-7793.
